MCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award certificates, diplomas, Associate in Applied Science degrees, Associate in Arts degrees, and Associate in Science degrees. If a complaint cannot be resolved through the institution's Student Grievance procedure and a student has evidence of the institution's non-compliance with SACSCOC standards, policies, and procedures, the next step would be to file a complaint with MCC's accrediting agency.   • The Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nurse Program are approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON);
  • The BLET program is approved by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards\Commission;
  • All degree, diploma, and certificate programs are approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs;
